Time for delivery
grace + hudson jewelry is made to order in Charleston, South Carolina so please allow extra time for ordering and delivery if you need your jewelry by a certain date, such as for a wedding. We are pleased to offer $6 flat rate shipping to destinations within the United States. Under this flat rate method, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Shipping times are approximate and not guaranteed, as we do not work for the shipping carrier and therefore have no control over delays they might encounter. We also have two rush options available on our website - see immediately below.
Rush and priority orders
If you require more urgent delivery, you may choose the "rush" or "priority" shipping option at checkout or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. Since our jewelry is made to order, our "rush" and "priority" options include both (a) jumping to the front of our jewelry production line (i.e. skipping all of the customers in line ahead of you) and (b) upgraded, faster shipping. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout in the shipping section.
We do not ship internationally with the exception of Canada. If shipping to Canada, delivery times will be longer than those outlined above. Prices are based on weight and destination, and you'll see various shipping options upon checkout along with estimated delivery times. They can vary greatly and may take up to 21 business days. If you require "rush" shipping to Canada, please send us a note at email@example.com and we'll give you a shipping fee estimate and try our very best to accommodate your timeline. Please note that grace + hudson is not liable for any customs fees, duties, or other charges. These are the responsibility of the customer.
All of our packages come with a tracking number, which you will receive via email at time of shipping. If a package is ever lost in transit before it reaches your address and is never marked "delivered" by the shipping carrier, we will replace your items and send you a new package. However, if a package is marked "delivered" per the tracking number but you claim to have not received it, we are not liable to replace your missing or stolen package. Under this circumstance, we suggest you contact the carrier with the tracking number to report the problem and have them investigate it. The carrier often locates the package if you give them the opportunity to do so. We also suggest you ask your neighbors if they mistakenly received your package. We are not liable for packages that are marked delivered to your per the tracking information and are subsequently stolen or missing from your porch, housefront, or mailbox. Especially during holiday season, there can be widespread "porch theft." If you are worried about delivery to your home, please either choose to have the package delivered to your place of work or contact us for other shipping options that require a signature for drop off (these will incur an increased shipping charge).
Returns + exchanges
To return or exchange an item, please send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions. All returns and exchanges must be received within 30 days of customer's receipt of his or her order. Due to the made-to-order nature of our jewelry and bridal headpieces, under no circumstances we will accept returns beyond 30 days. We think one full month is a generous timeline, especially given that most made-to-order companies allow just a few days for returns, or don't allow returns at all. If you decide not to use our return shipping label (which costs $7 and is deducted from your refund), please kindly use a shipping service with a tracking number and insure your package as g+h cannot be responsible for returns or exchanges that are lost in the mail before arriving at our shop. In the event of a return, the purchase price (less the shipping charges) will be refunded provided the item is returned in its original condition. We do not accept returns of worn items or damaged items.
Should one of the items you ordered go on sale within 7 calendar days of the purchase date, we will gladly perform a price adjustment. "Purchase date" means the date on which you placed your website order or the date on which you purchased the item in-store. Please send us a note at email@example.com with your order number. Special note for our Black Friday Sale: We do not offer price adjustments on orders placed before or after these sales. Why? These orders take much longer to ship (usually 4-6 weeks) and are delivered on an extended delivery timetable beyond our typical 2-3 weeks. Delayed delivery is one of the conditions you agree to, in order to receive a large discount during these sales.
